California Proposition 65

In 1986, California voters approved the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, commonly known as Proposition 65. This law requires businesses to provide warnings when consumers may be exposed to certain chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm above established safety levels.

The Proposition 65 list includes hundreds of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that may be present in foods, dietary supplements, consumer products, manufacturing materials, and environmental sources. The inclusion of a chemical on this list does not necessarily mean that a product is unsafe or violates any product safety standards.

Get Pure Berberine works with suppliers and independent laboratories to assess the quality and safety of its products. We may conduct testing and review ingredient specifications to determine whether Proposition 65 warnings are required under California law.

If we determine that a warning is necessary, we will provide clear and appropriate notice in accordance with Proposition 65 requirements.
